* J& i* x4 _& J: ]! @- k: q4 K孔子云:水有五德,因它常流不息,能普及一切生物,好像有德;流必向下,不逆成形,或方或长,必循理,好像有义;浩大无尽,好像有道;流几百丈山间而不惧,好像有勇;安放没有高低不平,好像守法;量见多少,不用削刮,好像正直;无孔不入,好像明察;发源必自西,好像立志;取出取入,万物就此洗涤洁净,又好像善于变化。水有这些好德处,所以君子遇水必观。

5 w, [3 }' @6 |Waters, surprise us in five ways: firstly, it flows endlessly to all livings things in the world by great virtue.

Waters flows to low places, with no certain shapes, square, or long, follows it's own logic, or seemingly its own law.' M2 o! C# u8 T% h6 A# H, ]
9 U8 g2 b! \8 h+ v LWaters, massive as it can be, tells us the "Dao"-rules, or the Way;

Waters drop from top of the mountain a few thousands of feet with no fears, it shows us the courage;

Waters, are always fair, no mater where you put ( place, find )them, it is even always! it goes lawfully.$ Q& a( S6 ?" K/ }
- R- X- @' Q+ W0 d+ XWhen measures, never you have to cut or reduce it, it tells us honesty.
& \6 E% u+ H4 B, l
7 O0 h( U6 X( e/ cWater goes into all holes, nothing can stop it, it's so direct, and hides nothing.

Waters cleans everything when you take it in and out of something, it works like chemistry.
